General Submission Requirements

  • Prior Publication: The submitted manuscript must not have been previously published and must not be under consideration by any other publisher. If an exception applies (e.g., a conference paper), a detailed explanation must be provided in the "Comments to the Editor."
  • Cover Letter: A concise Cover Letter must be included with the submission. This letter should explain the significance of the paper, place the findings in the context of existing work, and confirm that the manuscript fits the scope of the journal.
  • Author Confirmation & Naming: All authors must be named on the paper and the online submission form. You must also confirm that all co-authors have been notified of the submission.
  • Ethics Approval: If the research involves human interactions (e.g., interviews, surveys, questionnaires), you are required to submit a valid ethics approval document.
  • Compliance with Template: Ensure all requirements are strictly followed as detailed in the Author Instructions Template document.

Ensure the following in your manuscript

  • File Format: The manuscript file must be submitted in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word format.
  • Page Limit & Structure: The paper should be formatted in APA Style and be 6 to 8 pages long.
  • Abstract: The paper must begin with an Abstract text with a word count between 100 and 300 words.
  • Text and Font: The general text should be single-spaced and use Times Roman 10 pt font.
  • Headings: Headings should be 10 pt, bold, and numbered.
  • Grammar and Spelling: The article must be thoroughly checked for proper grammar and spelling.
  • Referencing Style (Merged Points): All material must be clearly and thoroughly referenced both in the text and in the References List, even if it is your own work. The paper must include a minimum of 10 references. All of which must be in APA 7th format.
  • Reference Validity: All references should be relevant to your study and visible by active DOIs or other related identifications. Webpage references are not accepted.
  • Figures, Tables, and Data: You must have obtained permission to reuse any figures, tables, and data sets. All figures and tables must be cited in the paper. If the figure/table is created by the paper's authors, please cite it as (Source: by authors).
  • Similarity and Self-Citation (Merged Points): You must strictly adhere to the journal’s policy on originality and similarity.
  • Similarity Rate: The similarity rate must not exceed 10–15% per chapter and no more than 5% from any single source. High similarity, plagiarism, or detected AI-generated content may result in rejection.
  • Self-Citations: Self-citations are not allowed, except where appropriate and approved by the Series Editor.

Note that for the peer review process:

  • Anonymity for Peer Review: If submitting the manuscript to a peer-reviewed section, you must double-check to ensure the author's name and identification have been removed from the document for blind review.
  • Revision Response: During the revision process, all reviewer comments must be responded to in a point-by-point fashion. If you disagree with a reviewer's comment, you must provide a clear and justified response.
